Using comment bubbles in the margins is a helpful tool for writing and reading essays, letters, or even class notes. When done with effort and purpose, the comments can allow writers and readers alike to better understand the content and make connections throughout the work. For essays, the comment bubbles in the margins can be used to identify writing elements. Logos, pathos, ethos, and kairos are a few examples of writing elements that can be identified with the comments. Others can also use the comments to make suggestions and compliment necessary parts of the writing. The comments provide a helpful visual representation of the writer's composition. It makes viewing the writing elements easier and allows the writer to see where they can improve and strengthen the argument of the essay. For example, if ethos is used overwhelmingly, the writer will easily be able to identify this and create a balance of ethos, logos, and pathos to enhance the writing. The comments can also be used to identify different types of sentences. This will allow the writer to visualize where more variety is needed.
The ability to label our writing elements is very helpful when writing our essays. First, it makes us aware of how we are presenting ourselves in our writing, which is very important. If you cannot find any ethos in your essay, your audience cannot either. It is important to know how our audience is feeling while reading our essay, and labelling the elements makes knowing that easier. Second, it shows us how much of a certain element we have in our essay. If you have all logos and no pathos, the audience may be confused by the amount of factual evidence in the essay. They may also be concerned that we are simply writing this as a means to an end, and have no real passion for the topic we are discussing. Finally, labelling our essays makes us more familiar with the elements of ethos, logos, and pathos, and this is important because it will better us as writers. Being extremely familiar with these concepts and how they can improve our writing will help us to grow more confident, showing us that what we are writing is worth reading and listening to.
The comment bubbles utilized in Google Docs are extremely helpful when writing and critiquing. Bubbles can be used for organization, brainstorming, and notes. Leaving simple, purposeful notes and comments in the margins can greatly improve writing and coherency. For example, one could use the bubbles to note where a sentence should be moved. They could be used to make notes on what information to add. Also, the bubbles help improve writing elements. They can be used to label ethos, pathos, and logos. These aspects to writing are important because they create credibility, emotion, and logic. Using the bubbles to label these aspects can allow the writer to be more aware of how effective they are being with their words. With the bubbles, it is easy to see when the writing elements are used in balance with each other. Any imbalance can be easily corrected and resolved with the bubbles. In addition to writing, the comment bubbles are useful in critiquing another's written work. The critic could highlight grammar or spelling mistakes and correct them in the margin. This is an extremely helpful and efficient method because the comments can easily be resolved. They appear next to the highlighted text. When the mistake is fixed, the comment bubbles can be resolved and disappear. Writing critics can also use the bubbles to comment on writing elements. It is sometimes easier for an outside reader to identify areas of improvement in ethos, pathos, and logos. They can quickly make suggestions on the margin for the writer. The comment bubbles are a useful tool when writing and critiquing. They allow for notes, comments, and ideas to be easily placed in the margin. The bubbles can make a writer more aware of how ethos, logos, and pathos are being used. Overall, they are an important tool in writing.
Using comment bubbles in the side margin can be very advantageous and helpful to your writing. It is an opportunity to collaborate with your peers and teacher to compose the best possible piece of writing. They can be used to clarify any confusion. For example, in the letters essay we had to label our logos, ethos, and pathos. We also had to use the comment bubbles while proofreading our table partners' essay. While proofreading the letters, you can highlight anything necessary and leave a helpful note. The writer of the essay then will see the comment and have the option to take the note into consideration and resolve the problem. In my experience with the comment bubbles, they have been extremely helpful in correcting any misused words or grammatical errors. I predict that they will be the most versatile tool throughout the semester of Composition 101. In conclusion, comment bubbles provide you with the ability to correct others work and vice versa.
The commenting and suggesting tools used in Google Documents is a very innovative feature in my opinion, and I’m surprised they haven’t been utilized in my previous English classes. The ability to have classmates conduct a peer review of my work all at the same time truly helps me progress as a writer. When we were going over each other’s letters the other day, my peers discovered some flaws in my writing, and they gave me suggestions on how to fix them. With the suggestion tool, they could show me how they would change some of the punctuation and phrasing to make the letter more fluent. They also left comments on the side regarding what I should add to the essay for more impact on the receiver. When I went through to look at the advice they had given me to make the letter better, all I had to do was confirm or deny the suggestions and resolve the comments. I truly believe that this feature is one of the best to be added to a program designed for writing, and I will be using it throughout the rest of the year; possibly after graduation, as well.
I feel that labeling the various elements in your essays are very helpful. I feel this way because having the various required elements labeled in your essay will mean that you do not have to re-read your essay over and over in order to make sure you have all the elements included. It also means that it will be harder to miss a requirement in the essay because you could just compare what you have in the comments to what is on the rubric. I also love the comment bubbles for peer editing. They allow my peers to label what they feel I should fix, rather than just doing it for me so that I can actually see how my peers would do something and I can apply that to my future essays. I have had great successes with labeling with comment bubbles and I will probably use them in college to keep my work organized and never miss a requirement again!
Labeling elements of essays in the margin, I believe, is a great tool for helping students really organize and compose their essays. It really helps students be able to visualize what exactly they are trying to do. In order to be able to comment on what you have said in an essay you have to reread it and if you are rereading it that is a step in the right direction. When it comes to writing essays The biggest problem I have as a student is never rereading my essays and just settling with some of the minor revisions I did to my rough draft essays. I think that if we are forced to comment on our essays and reread what we have written then more students will be able to put out better essays. This will help prepare students for college where they will have less people viewing their essays and those that they do have look at their essays might go easy on them so it allows them to actually help themselves a lot more.
The labeling and comment section on Google Docs is an amazing tool that can help us with our writing. It's a tool that can also help others if they need assistance on their essays. Commenting can be a good way to remind anyone to fix a sentence, or correct punctuation if needed. It's also a good tool to take notes with, if you need to jot something down quickly and comments were available to do so. And, they're easy to resolve! It's a good way to keep the essay concise and organized rather than be a mess and not make sense. Commenting on other's essays can be a good way of giving them positive (or possibly negative) critiques on what they should/should not fix, and give them better ideas on how to...start a sentence better for example. It's a good way to show that you have been reading their essay and wish to help them achieve a good grade on their work, and it shows that you are willing to give advice when advice is needed.
Comment bubbles in the margins is an immense tool that increases perfection within our writing. This tool can help lead to more vibrant ideas and allow peers to give feedback to possibly help the writer. Those bubbles do not seem like a big deal but they actually have a huge impact in the essays. One example is where somebody forgets to put a comma where one is needed. Then somebody can catch this and comment and help the writer. Not only are they used to correct grammatical errors but they are also positive in a sense of seeing a good line or paragraph. Then they can show the writer that they have good ideas and possess good word choice. Overall I think that the comment bubbles in the margins are very important and are a great tool to be used in every essay. They are easy to use and very efficient.
The ability to label our specific writing elements in our essay with side comment bubbles is immensely helpful for the grader and writer. The first reason why is so it helps the grader. By making the requirement to include ethos, logos, and pathos, it makes the grader read through the whole essay in order to find it. With comment bubbles, it easily picks out ethos, logos, and pathos for the grader. Also, it helps the writer. By requiring the writer to specifically label all ethos, logos, and pathos, it shows that the writer has a firm understanding of the terms. Also, comment bubbles help when critiquing other student’s writing. With comment bubbles, you can require your students to critique other student’s writing. It makes it easy. If you like a part of a peer’s essay, you can highlight it and say good job. If you have a suggestion, you can write those too. With these comment bubbles, you can improve your writing and your peer’s writing.
As we learned on the first day of class, we are taking Composition, not Writing. Labeling writing elements within our essay is vital for differentiating Composition from Writing. Since we are composing our essays rather than simply writing them, we must pay attention the types of grammar and literary devices used within our written works. When we label these elements we are forced to pay attention to how we are writing. And__as we all can attest to__when we are paying attention, we are learning. Labeling writing elements in our essays can also open our eyes to the elements that we might not have even realized we were capable of using, which gives us more confidence in our writing abilities. For me especially, when I label certain aspects of my writing, I become more aware of which elements are becoming overused or which elements could be employed more often. I also understand Term Tuesday terms more completely when I am able to pick them out of my own writing and label them. If we wish to compose rather than write our essays, we must utilize all of the tools available to us. Labeling writing elements in our essays using the comment feature, allows us to learn more about composing, the English language, and our own writing capabilities.
When writing anything, adding comment bubbles in the margins is very beneficial. It is helpful for yourself and it allows others to easily help guide you in making your writing better. Other people can use the simple comment bubbles to give you advice and positive criticism or point out positive aspects and elements of your writing. You can also use it yourself to become more aware of the writing techniques and elements that you are using. It is an organized and easy way to further understand your own writing. Labeling makes you more aware of what elements you are lacking in or have an abundance of. It makes you a better writer and helps you compose more successfully, instead of just simply writing. It helps to ensure that you have all the required elements in your essay. It is a great and efficient tool that should be utilized. I will use comment bubbles in my other classes and continue to use it through college.
Labeling the writing elements that we include in our essays with comment bubbles is a great tool in improving and reviewing our writing. Going back through our essays to check out where we used writing elements in it helps us understand those elements better. The new understanding that we have after going through that process allows us to use them correctly and pushes us to find other ways to use those elements in our writing. Using those elements more helps make our writing more interesting and the essay better overall. Going back and labeling with comment bubbles also makes us think more about the writing in our essays. The thinking involved with deciding which elements we used in a sentence makes us think about each sentence at a higher level. The normal glazed eye reading that most of us do when we reread our papers on the other hand does not, allowing this higher level thinking process to push our bounds farther. It also helps us find more mistakes in our writing to fix and lets us check to see if our sentences flow well together, which is always a plus.
Labeling the writing elements that we use in a comment bubble is a great tool to use to improve, organize, and review an essay. Going back through our writings to check how a certain writing element was used and where it is used can help a person better understand the material and find more of that writing element in other works. Expanding our understanding on writing elements will greatly help in college for big research papers and also help peers with writing papers as well. Comment bubbles really help with organizing an essay because if you have certain writing elements that need to be incorporated throughout the work, you can make a comment on the element to help keep track of what you have used and where it is. This also helps other students use your essay to see the material and how others have used the material in their own writing. The understanding helps to use the elements correctly as well. Most writing elements are used on a daily basis so most writers don't realize the technique they are using. Making highlights and comments helps with expanding knowledge and writing styles.
Using comment bubbles in the margins is a great way for the author to make comments for himself, but also for others to make comments to them. Spoken comments are often forgotten or disregarded, but using comment bubbles makes the author pay attention to the comments and helps provide them with lasting, useful comments. Providing comments for other classmates also helps students come up with ideas for their own writing. Comment bubbles in the margins are also a good way for the author to keep track of elements of their essays used for grading. For example, our essays are required to have vocabulary words, final exam items, and sentence types labeled. Labeling vocabulary words helps keep track of the words you have already used and where different words could potentially work. Overall, using comment bubbles in the margins provides a level of organization that would not be possible without technology.
Being able to label in writing is a very helpful tool. It is important for an author to be able to organize their thoughts and visualize the grammatical and structural ideas being used. Labeling also helps for reviewing once done with the work, and so you do not have to hunt for parts of the essay; which can become very difficult after you have written many pages. Being able to comment on other people's work is immensely helpful as well. Being able to peer edit without printing off the paper is so much more effective. Inversely, another person being able to comment on your writing is beneficial.
The tips that I have gotten so far this year using the comment bubbles have been invaluable. Using them in our essays to verify the use of certain writing elements has helped me be more conscious of my writing.
Labeling writing elements with comment bubbles on my essays is very helpful. I believe that being able to label the writing elements shows me which elements I am overusing and which elements I am not using enough. I have found that I struggle at writing with certain elements more than others. For example, I do not naturally write with many compound- complex sentences. Being able to label with comment bubbles, showed me that this was one of my weak points and has allowed me to work on getting better in this department. Labeling with comment bubbles has, also, given me insight on which elements come easier to me. Additionally, I like being able to have other people help me label elements with comment bubbles. Similar to when I comment, this helps me see which elements I am struggling with. Then, my friends are able to help me improve in those areas through their comments. I feel that labeling has helped make me a stronger writer and mix up my writing style through different elements. I hope that by labeling different elements I can continue to become a stronger writer and continue to use this resource as I go to college next year.
Being able to use the comment tool is one of the best things about google docs. In my opinion, the comment feature on google docs is extremely useful and can be used to help essay writers in so many ways. Not only can you use it to write personal notes for yourself on your own essay, but you can also use it to make suggestions on other people’s essays and have them do the same for you. While writing my classification essay, I have used the comment tool a lot because it helps me a lot to keep everything I want to keep organized. For example I have been using it to label all of the different sentence types I have and that helps me a lot to make sure I have everything I need to have. Other things I have used it for is to keep track of vocab words, final exam items, and not to mention use it for future ideas I have for later in my essay. This tool have many options from editing, suggesting, and even viewing. Overall, I find this tool extremely useful and I am grateful to have it as a tool.
Labeling my writing elements with comment bubbles in the margins has allowed me to make improvements and critique my essay. Comment bubbles help me stay organized while still expanding upon my essay. It is incredibly useful when trying to use a variety of sentences like simple, compound, complex, and compound-complex. Obviously, if there is an excess amount of simple sentences and not enough compound or complex sentences, then I need to amend my essay. In addition, comment bubbles are extremely useful when it comes to critiquing another classmate's essay. They are a quick and efficient way to add positive suggestions referring to grammar, consistency, transitions, or spelling. I think the comment bubbles are truly easy to use when correcting the suggestions. All the comments are highlighted and you can choose whether to resolve the suggestion or reject it. Without comment bubbles, I would storm through the essay without any revisions or thought put into it. They also make sure that I have all the requirements finished. I will continue to use comment bubbles for other essays as it has become an extremely important resource for me.
By using the comment bubbles on the side of your documents in Google Drive has made my papers better. It helps me determine what I am writing such as labeling the different types of sentences. I can use the bubbles to classify which sentence is simple, compound, complex, and compound-complex, so I do not over use one type of sentence. I can use the comment bubbles to my advantage, by marking adjustments for further improvement. The comment bubbles do not always have to be used for editing, they can also be used for notes throughout your paper. The comment bubbles are also helpful when you peer edit a paper. The comment bubbles are not only helpful for the writer, but for the editor as well. You can add suggestions to others work by not actually changing their words for them. They will be able to see what you suggested and use that in their writing. Overall, I believe this tool has helped improve my papers thus far. I will continue to use this tool on my paper as well as when I peer edit.
I have found comment bubbles very useful. First of all, comment bubbles make you look for things in your writing. They make you look for good techniques. If you cannot find good techniques in your writing, it might be because you don’t have any good techniques in your writing. But, because you were looking at your writing closely, you have a pretty good idea of where to add in good writing techniques. Comment Bubbles also show you how much of an item you have. For example, you are looking for a colon. If you are reading through and start commenting on the colons you might realize you have a lot of them or not enough. Comment bubbles also give other people a chance to leave tips and notes to make your writing better. When other people leave comment bubbles it doesn’t permanently change your writing. It just leaves the tip on the side so you can decide whether or not to change it yourself. Comment bubbles have helped me improve my writing.
The comment bubbles in Google Documents is extremely helpful. Comment bubbles help you lay out your essay, easily point find things when you look back in your essay and making sure you have everything in your essay. You can make a comment bubble to remind you that you need something else there that you could have easily forgot. These comment bubbles can be left by yourself or other people. That is a major point as to why they are so helpful. You can ask a friends or a class mate to proof read your essay. When they stumble across something in your essay that they feel should be changed, instead of emailing you they can just leave a little bubble telling you exactly what they think should be done. This tool can help you learn and better your writing skills. You can also go through and label specific things. Labeling specific things will help you know if you have enough or not enough of a certain thing. Comment bubbles have definitely helped me improve my writing.
Comment bubbles are a great way for us to label the important literary devices in our essay. They help us understand when to use those terms in order to have our essay sound and flow better. The comment bubbles are also a great way of organizing the labeling of your essay. You can keep track of the terms you have used so far and where those terms are in the essay. By having to label literary devices in our essay, we become more familiar with how to implement them into our writing. The comment bubbles are also great for having people revise and make suggestions on your essay. Many people can view your document at one time, and thus you can get more feedback, making your essays better. When you have to label each literary term that you are using, you can't simply just write without thinking; you have to slow down and think about each term you are using.
I think that the comment feature in Google Docs is very helpful when labeling my writing or critiquing other’s writing. This tool is useful in all types of writing in all classes. I also find commenting valuable in organizing and it makes finding elements in my essay just overall easier. Commenting in someone else’s essay is a great way to help them without writing out something for them and changing their essay without them knowing. I’m not quite sure, but I feel like the use of comment bubbles for labeling an essay, like the ones we write in this class, is immensely helpful for the teacher because it makes it easier to find the final exam items. Because comment bubbles are to the side of the paper, they don’t affect what is actually in the paper, which is better than having to highlight or underline a word or phrase to annotate it. Overall, I think that comment bubbles for labeling and commenting is extremely valuable and I plan to use them throughout my college life as well as the rest of my high school experience.
Labeling your writing elements with comment bubbles in the margin is a very helpful tool in Google Docs. It allows you to set apart key components within your essay without making any changes to the text itself. Also they do not show up if you print the final copy. Also with the comment bubbles you can efficiently find these elements if you are looking for a specific one. The comment bubbles have a larger impact on the editing portion of writing an essay. People can highlight a certain text and leave a helpful suggestion or compliment for the author. This gives students the opportunity to help out each other and catch mistakes that the author might accidentally look over. Revising essays becomes easier for the author. The use of comment bubbles can better your writing immensely if used correctly and effectively. The addition of them to our class this year will certainly improve our essays.
The comment bubble option is great for allowing us to give helpful tips to ourselves and our peers. This feature allows us to keep a more organized and better sounding essay. It is useful when it comes to critiquing and making sure you have all of the elements in your essay that will make it a great one. They also become helpful when revising because it gives the writer a chance to remember why they changed something or pointing out ideas in case they need to change something in the future. The comment bubbles are great because they give you an idea of how much of a certain writing technique you are using so that you don't have too much of one item, this also gives the essay a better flow. It also makes it easy for my classmates and teachers to give me useful comments that will improve my writing style. I think that having the option to use comment bubbles is very beneficial and will help us while composing our essays.
Comment bubbles in google docs can be quite useful. They can allow you to write suggestions or questions to yourself for later use. They can not only help keep a focused mind and keep a person on track but allow someone to write a quick note down and continue writing. Comment bubbles can also be helpful when others look at your writing because they can suggest things to improve whatever someone is writing. This gives the writer a different perspective and can allow them to see if they are heading in the right direction or if they have gone off topic. It can also show where things need to be reworded, switched around, or just deleted from the work as a whole. Comment bubbles leave notes for the writer while also being constructive to help further the work, they allow growth and the ability to strengthen a piece of writing. When others and yourself leave comments, it can guide the writer to new ideas they may not have thought of or fix any mistakes that might have been made in the rush to finish the work.
Google documents in Google drive has a feature where I can place comment bubbles in the margins. Using this feature has greatly improved my writing, such as keeping me organized when I am writing an essay, letter, or notes. I can use the comment bubbles to label sentence types, highlight grammatical errors, and make sure I have the correct information I need to have for successful writing. I have become a better writer through the comment bubbles because it gives me the ability to label my essay with required information like sentence styles, vocabulary words, and final exam items. Comment bubbles are not just for personal use but can be used by anyone. Peer editing is a lot easier through google drive making the classmates writing skills better. I like the comment bubbles in google drive for the reason that they help me become a better writer and can help me in other classes with notes and keeping my writing organized.
The comment bubbles are a great tool and it is important to utilize it. It allows me to let my fellow classmates give me advice and critique my essay so it is the best it can possibly be. This is a good reminder to fix any forgotten errors in the essay. They also help me better understand the term tuesdays. Learning about the different types of sentences and grammar rules on Tuesday is very helpful but can sometimes seem difficult to implement in my own essays. However, when I see that I already have some of the terms in my essay it gives me confidence that I can develop well thought out sentences. It also lets me brainstorm different ideas without making my essay confusing or messy because they are reminders on the side so it gives me the option of using them or not. I have really enjoyed using comment bubbles and will continue to use them throughout the year and into college.
Comment bubbles on google is a great tool that is under used by most. The comment bubbles let me write down comments on my classmates or my own essay. Comments on classmates essays allow them to get a different perspective on what they are writing and how they should do it. Comment bubbles also allow me to label my essay with different exam terms like dashes, certain sentence types, and many other terms. Labeling these elements help me understand the amount of terms I have and if I need to add more into my essay. Labeling writing elements is an important trait to have when writing an essay. Google Docs makes it easy to leave comments and labeling without directly effecting the essay. Comments and labeling are crucial in realizing and fixing mistakes through out an essay. I have not used comment bubbles as often as I should, and will be using them more and more through out the year and more than likely in my college essays.
Annotating your writing with comment bubbles allows you to better evaluate the writing’s composition. This practice allows you to asses how and when you are using different grammar elements, and whether or not you are varying sentence structure and length throughout your essay. It also allows you to highlight weak areas in your essay that require reworking. These skills are important to enhancing your writing. By assessing your use of grammar elements and different sentence structures, you can determine if you are using a wide range of elements that lead to more interesting phrases and sentences. It will help you articulate your thoughts to an audience more clearly in addition to giving your writing texture and depth. Making note of weak points is also helpful because it allows you to determine what areas of your essay could be strengthened, which improves the overall composition. In conclusion, using comment bubbles in the margins will lead to a deeper overall understanding of how you composed your work, and of how you can improve your writing with specific learned skills.
By having the ability to comment on your essay with the bubbles is very resourceful to students. I believe that the tool used in Google Docs is underrated. The comment bubbles allow me to write down suggestions not only to myself, but my classmates as well. In class, when students comment on other essays it allows those students receiving the comments to improve their essays and make it so they can receive a better grade. I also like that when you do comment, it allows you to see where the comment was made by highlighting it. I think this is extremely effective and allows for students to know where the changes need to be made. When the class commented on my essay, it made me a better writer. I also like when they can suggest so if I think the comment is helpful, it is easy to change and add. Overall, I think by having the bubbles on the essay, it makes a student a hundred times smarter and more studious. It leads to a deeper understanding of how others think too.
Using comment bubbles is an effective way to make sure you have all of the components you need for your essay. It allows both the teacher and student to easily see what the student is or is not missing. Comment bubbles are also extremely useful for critiquing your essay. Your peers can leave comments or suggestions for you to help make your essay the best it can be. For me, this was incredibly helpful to see what I was missing in my essay or what I could expound upon. Another benefit of comments is that it helps to leave to yourself notes of things you are confused on or that you might want to come back to later. If I have a sentence or some punctuation that I am unsure about, leaving a comment helps me remember to check it or ask someone else about it later. Overall, utilizing comment bubbles makes essays higher quality writing.
It is easy to write down your thoughts as they come to you but commenting and labeling in your essay can help structure those thoughts and can help enhance your sentences to help them acquire more depth. Labeling and commenting helped me bring many different aspects and ideas into my essay. It has helped to introduce me to new sentence structures and more diversity throughout all of my writing. It has also helped me to introduce better vocabulary into my writing and take out a lot of unnecessary verbiage. The labeling and comments in google docs is easy and convenient. The critiques that you are allowed to leave and receive on your google doc make it easy to make your essay better with the touch of the resolve button. The comments on your essay are only written on the online version and are easy to resolve them and edit them.
Using comment bubbles in the margins can be extremely useful when writing or preparing an essay. It allows you to be extra organized and plan out your thoughts while writing out an essay. When the teacher is grading your essay they will be able to see your thoughts and how you decided to plan out writing your essay. They can fix any errors you might have done. Before this class I would have never used comments in the side margins. I thought it made my essays look messy. Therefore I never used them. Although, this class has changed my perspective on them. I love them. I love that my classmates can comment on my work so I can make it 10x better. Without the bubbles in the side margins we would not be able to peer edit the way we do. We would have to get out a scratch piece of paper or directly sit next to them and tell them what to change. The bubbles allow us to peer edit at home or when we are not with that other person. Comment bubbles were made to make things more clear and I think that is exactly what their purpose is. Without the comment bubbles we would have murky thoughts towards other people's essays.
I like the implication of being able to put comments into google documents. It has nothing but but benefits. My favorite thing about the comment system is that I can comment on and revise my own writing while I am in the process of it. This way if I think that I should add something later I can make a note of it. Also, it allows you to know what you have put into your essay so far, and allows you to find out what you still need to add. Being able to find where you are in your works by marking different parts makes writing much easier. This idea of comments is genius and should have been implemented into school essays much sooner. Another positive thing about it is that you can comment on other people's essays. This makes the process of writing and revising much quicker and easier, and accepting the critiques is just one click.
The comment bubbles are a big help to writing essays. I think that they are one of biggest advantage to writing on a computer. The comments allow for a much easier time when it comes to reviewing and improving. They also make it easier to edit another person’s work. I should now have everything that I need labeled. The most difficult ones that I found to label were the types of sentences because a lot of natural sentences have quite a few phrases to them making it hard to discern which type it fell under. The other final exam items were fairly easy to label as long as I had used them in the essay previously. I changed the color of vocab words to red, so that the side wasn’t as cluttered with comment bubbles. I often times used comment bubbles along the side to leave notes to myself later. It helped denote which areas of my work needed more focus and work. It was also a good way to store my ideas that could help improve my writing. Admittedly, I would also just comment in jokes about my writing which only I probably found funny, but regardless they helped. Commenting about the required elements also help keep track of what areas I still needed to work on. Overall, comments are a very useful tool to give and receive improvements.
When we are writing our essays on Google Drive the program allows us to leave comments on the side. These comments can be very helpful when planning and organizing our papers. By using comments, we can keep track of what we have added to our essay and what we have not. For example, in our classification essay we need to add five vocabulary terms and ten final exam items. The comment bubbles allow us to easily label and see what we have and what need to add. The section that is commented on is even highlighted in the paper to let us see and understand it clearly. The comment bubbles are also very helpful when it comes to reviewing and editing our essays. This is especially beneficial when we are peer editing our classmate’s essays. The comment bubbles are a great way to leave suggestions and ideas for someone else’s paper. With the bubbles, we can simply scroll through our papers and go comment to comment and resolve the suggestion once we make the change.
When writing our essays in Google Docs it comes with a tool called comment bubbles. It allows you to write comments then have it show up in the margins. It is helpful because it allows you to write comments to yourself for a later time. When you need to write something but do not really have it illustrated out yet, it lets you leave a comment as a reminder to come back to it later. Then once you have come back to it and added what you need too, you can resolve the comment and have it leave the margins. When looking at other people's essays or having them look at yours, you can leave helpful comments and or suggestions to improve their essay and vice versa. Also, if the essay requires you to label certain items, you can label them and it lets you and the teacher know that you have it in there so you do not have to go searching. It is a very helpful tool that helps everyone improve their essays.
The use of comment bubbles to help further the progress of my essay is a fairly new concept to me. The neat feature yields many benefits when it comes to staying organized. One of the highly beneficial uses of comment bubbles in the margins is labeling. Labeling your writing elements can provide an organized and well thought out essay. Easily being able to see what is in your essay makes it crystal clear as to what you might want to add, or what you might have enough of. A few elements that might be worth labeling include literary devices, vocab words, types of sentences, and perhaps any other requirement needed in your paper. The labeling feature is a great way to mark passages you think you might want to come back to. Whether that be to alter it, or shift it around, The labeling feature serves as a sufficient bookmark. Overall, labeling your writing elements with comment bubbles serves as a great way to quickly navigate, and increase your productivity throughout your essay.
We as students do not catch everything. Using comment bubbles in our essay helps us as students receive feedback as well as labeling writing elements that are helpful to visualize in our essay. They help students see what sentence structure they have used in their essay and what they could use moving forward. If they only use simple sentences, then maybe they should do more compound-complex and mix it up. The comments people make on my essay are taken into consideration because who knows you better than your own classmates and they know what you are trying to get across. It also helps with keeping your essay organized as well as polished. It helps with organizing my thoughts as well as using the comments to highlight the vocab words and sentence structure I have used. Personally, I love when other students comment on my essay because I know they are helping everyone get a good grade. I, also, love to write little messages in the comments on sentences that I do not think flow well with other sentences. This helps because when I ask someone to peer review my essay, I can ask them on that specific comment instead of telling them in person, which they will probably forget. Comment bubbles helps students visualize concepts, organizes the essay, and highlight issues in their essays.
Comment bubbles can be very helpful and useful when writing and editing essays. One way to use comment bubbles is to identify different writing elements. Using comment bubbles to label the different elements in your essay can make you more familiar with how to use them. Labeling them will also make you more confident in using them when writing future essays. You can use comment bubbles to point out what kind of sentences you are using. This can be helpful because then it is easier to see if you are using too many of the same sentence types. Another use for comment bubbles can be to tell people your opinions on their writing. For example, if you see something in someone’s essay that they did wrong or could be worded better then you could post a comment about how they could fix it. Overall, comment bubbles are a very important tool when writing.
A fantastic feature of Google Docs and other Google applications is the comment feature. By allowing users to comment on their own work, and others’ documents, working on projects becomes more collaborative. The comments that are displayed in the margins are an excellent tool for students to keep track of on going thoughts while writing their essay without causing the actual content of their writing to be affected by their notes. Also, when someone is reviewing a document for errors and things that should be changed they can easily comment on what needs to be changed and why. The use of the suggesting setting is also extremely useful for anyone that cares how their work is viewed, especially from a grammatical standpoint. The editor can delete different portions of the writing and add on without changing the content automatically, the creator needs to accept or decline the changes. This comment and suggesting features are one of the many reasons as to why Google Docs is a far superior word processing application compared to Microsoft’s Word or Apple’s Pages.
Comment bubbles are very beneficial when writing essays. They can be used to label elements in your writing such as sentence types and literary terms. You can then look back at your comment bubbles to see what you have used in your writing and what you need to add. Comment bubbles are also a helpful tool when editing not only your own essay, but also classmates essays. You can leave yourself notes so you know what you need to change, and you can also leave notes on a classmates essay. It is very helpful to have a classmate comment things on your essay so you can get someone else's views on what you can change. They also may see grammatical errors that you may have missed when writing your essay. The bubbles are very convenient to use and it is easy to resolve them after you have made the changes. Comment bubbles are an exceptional tool to get your essays to the best they can be.
The use of comment bubbles in the margin of Google Docs is extremely beneficial. The feature allows you to add comments in all sorts of ways. The way that I tend to use the comment bubbles most usually for two things: labeling required parts of sentences and reminding myself of what I should add if I hit a block in my writing. By using the bubbles, I can show my instructors what I know by labeling parts of sentences or needed data. It is especially helpful with essay writing by showing if I am using the logical amount of ethos, pathos, and logos. When a essay does not contain all three of these ideas, it is almost always poorly written. These bubbles are even more helpful when other students use them for labeling writing elements in my essay. Peer review and ideas help to strengthen anyones reach in an essay. I personally use the bubbles to help remind myself of labels needed very frequently. When I write it is often times in spurts, so it is very nice when I can look back and start right where I left off. The use of comment bubbles is nothing but beneficial in my eyes.
To use the comment bubbles in the margin of a google document is a two sided coin for me. I do feel that the comment bubbles to benefit me and other writers in many ways. Keeping people organized is one of the best reasons why. One way I use them is to organize the thoughts I don't actually want. Thought bubbles can be used if I feel I want to change something and I am not sure what to do in the moment. By doing this I have an obvious identifier of what I want to change so I can remember to do it, and remind myself why I wanted to do it. Another way to use a thought bubble for organization is to help in the ideas in one's writing. You can easily use thought bubbles to pinpoint the flow of your essay along with creating a structure for egos, logos, and pathos. Another way to use the thought bubbles is exactly how we used them in class, to mark up desired items. By using them in class you can see what type of vocabulary, types of sentences, and parts of grammar you use. Then one can analyze their paper to make it less verbose and add more variety in all areas. The comment bubble is also a great tool for peer reviews and teacher assistant on one's paper. Instead of just changing information it is scene as a suggestion leaving all the power to the author of the essay. This way it is clear that everything in the paper at least has been authorized by the writer before being added to the essays. If the commenter is unsure of what they are suggesting, or just giving simple ideas, the author can look at the idea before it is entered onto the paper. They may even draw information from that suggestion. The one thing I do not like about the comment bubble is that I can not color code things but am instead stuck with one color for all my own comments. I do understand that each new person who comments receives a different color to stop confusion of who has suggested what. Yet, overall I find it hard to distinguish what I a suggested with what needs to be done. Take the classification essay for example; I would feel better organized if I had a color for vocabulary words, sentence structure, and term Tuesday because then I would be able to see which is which at a much quicker speed and know what to improve on. Overall I did enjoy labeling my writing elements in this essay as I felt it gave a much better visual on what needs to be worked on and where. It also made me thoroughly sweep my essay in every aspect labeled. By doing this I was able to see what was needed to be mended even if it did not fall in the labeled category. I also felt it gave me a visual of what needs more variety (especially in sentence structure). Lastly I enjoyed when others would suggest things onto my essay and I was allowed to choose what I wanted out of their suggestion instead of just accepting it. Once again I think the comment bubble is an extremely useful tool and has helped with labeling our writing elements. I hope to further learn how to use it in the future on other essays as I have seen the tremendous help it has had on my classification essay.
When I am writing my essay it is very helpful for me to be able to write comments on the side. It is so valuable to have a tool that allows you to highlight a word phrase, or whole paragraph, then comment on the side. I can easily remember the things I am labeling. For example, when I used a vocab word, I immediately labeled it in the comments. That is useful because then I knew how many vocab words I used and what ones I already used. Additionally, the comment bubbles are helpful when peer editing someone else’s essay. Instead of having to type into their actual essay, you can just comment on the side. Another reason I appreciate the comment feature on Google docs is when I am done working on my essay for a little bit, I can highlight where I left off and comment the main idea of what I was just thinking. It is very easy to forget what you had in mind when you come back to work on it again but with the comment tool you no longer will forget.
Comment bubbles can be used to many things. They can make your essay more organized if you add them. Having too many could make it more confusing though. If you go through your essay and make these comment bubbles it reminds you where you have to add something or fix something. Adding comment bubbles gives your essay a meaning. If a teacher is looking at your essay it lets them see what was going through your mind while writing it. For example, going through your essay writing simple, complex, compound lets your teacher see how good you are understand things in their class and what they need to teach a little bit better. Comment bubbles are also used on peer essays. If you have to peer edit a students essay this lets you make suggestions rather than just changing it. It lets them see what they did wrong and how to correct it. It is easier to receive feedback when comment bubbles are used. Comment bubbles are a great way to organize and perfect an essay.
By using the comment bubbles, I enhance my writing. They inspire me to have a different and bigger variety than I previously have used. They offer a masterpiece if used correctly. Comment bubbles allow you to write with passion. This is extremely helpful when writing essays. I have enjoyed most labeling Ethos, Pathos, and Logos. I feel they have taught me to compose rather than just write because it is assigned with a due date. It is also helpful for my friend or mom who have to read it about ten times to make sure it was great for me. The comment bubbles help better explain the point I was trying to get across in my essay; this makes it easier to critique and make better. Having this awesome feature is what makes Google Docs better than other writing applications. It makes it available for me to get even more–and even better–criticism than we could get with just a word document in Microsoft Word.
The use of comment bubbles and annotating devices while writing an essay are important tools to utilize in order to construct a clear piece of writing. Personally, these necessary items have not been used in my essays as often as they should have. After being introduced to comment bubbles, specifically in Google Docs, I have found it easier to revise rough drafts. I use the comment bubbles to label certain aspects of literary devices, such as logos, ethos, and pathos. They also provide a way of organizing essays by having the ability to specifically comment on a certain sentence or phrase. By labeling my essay via comment bubbles, it becomes more clear to see which literary items I am using too frequently and which items I need to add more of. In past years, I have not had much success in terms of revising rough drafts, and I believe that a lack of labeling is the cause. Labeling the writing elements in the essays I have composed and will compose helps very much. When the elements are labeled, such as pathos, logos, and ethos, doing this makes visible what has been included in the essay written. This allows you as a writer to become more diverse in what has been put in the essay already. Once known to you what is already included, seeing all of them will allow you to see what should be added into the essay to add more spice to it. Say, that all the sentences are labeled in the essay, being able to distinguish the simple, compound, complex, and, compound-complex. When this wealth of knowledge is bestowed upon the writer, they will be able to add greater variety to the essay and make it more appealing to the reader once it is finished. Also, labeling vocabulary helps to show that there is variety in the words used by the author. So labeling may seem like a waste of time, but it greatly improves the quality of the essay and the skills of the writers.
When students and teachers use comment bubbles on each other’s essays, letters or other forms of literature it is quite helpful due to the gain of knowledge from another person’s perspective on the way something should be edited or written. The use of labeling is quite informative and is the benefit to not only yourself but you input to others which in the end helps everyone accomplish their work of literature in a better way of word choice or clarity. The key three ways of writing language that is used is described as the ethos, logos, and pathos. Comment bubbles help organize and clarify grammatical terms and sentence structures. Without using these comment bubbles, you may be less prepared and the paragraphs might become choppy. It is very important to be able to see when you are repeating your techniques and starting multiple sentences the same way. When I use the comment bubbles it is usually to label bad elements of my writing so I can go back and further improve my essays. They are great reminders to go back and change things. Even if a piece of writing is good but I don't like it, I can go back and change it later or leave it the same if it fits. It is also helpful when commenting on other student's essays. Rather than suggesting every little change and putting in words you can let that composer decide on what replacement word they themselves like the most. You don't need to totally overhaul an essay when you can just suggest comments here and there to improve the artwork that is that piece of composed writing. Another way comment bubbles help me, is to make sure I get all the requirements met for that particular assignment. If I can just go back through and say okay there are 5/7 vocabulary words labeled I need 2 more it really helps keep me organized.
I think comment bubbles are very helpful. They keep our essays organized and help us to use our grammar skills. By labeling our final exam items it helps to further our learning on the topics we will eventually be tested for. Also for your ethos, logos, and pathos, this will help add more diversity. You would not want to have all ethos or all pathos. This helps you visually see what you have written and helps you see that you need to add more of one category. I think it helps you stay organized. The visual aspect of knowing that this sentence is one thing and the other is something different. Making your essay stand out, because you a diverse and wide wage of different types of sentences and reasoning behind them . This also brings up the quality of your writing style. Essays are tough and they are made even tougher without the input of others and the ability to make notes. That is why the comment bubbles are very helpful. they allow you to label your logos, ethos, and pathos which is very important. Also as you are writing you might think of something you want to add in later so you can make a comment to remember it. Another thing it is useful for is when your classmates or friends proofread your essay and they can leave comments telling you where you can improve and where you did good. Also this helps to find places where you might have too many spaces or where something isn't capitalized where it should be. This is extremely helpful to make your essay the best that it can be. The nice thing about them is that they keep your essay organized and allows you to point out where you have certain vocabulary words or different kinds of sentences. This makes grading easier for your teachers and shows that you know where and when to use these assets. Some other things it is nice for is when you are stuck somewhere, you can just highlight it and come back to it later and this all means that you don't have to necessarily have a rough draft because you can just go back through and fix your first draft. A nice feature added on to it is that you just have to click the resolve button and it goes away so you can free up space and come one more step closer to the final, perfect essay. This is a great tool that google has given us and it makes writing and composing much easier.
Using comment bubbles helps you as the author organize your thoughts. When you use the bubbles you are able to use this as a check list. When you are able to label your own writing it helps you understand how the parts of your writing work together. Having students label also help them understand sentence structure, vocabulary words, and other english essentials. The comment bubbles can also be helpful when getting or giving a peer review. I think that the use of the bubbles is helpful in many ways and should be used to help learn and write better essays.
Using comment bubbles to label your essay can very helpful in many different ways. Comment bubbles can help the author organize his/her thoughts, almost like a checklist. They can help you better understand grammar and sentence structure. Being able to identify different types of sentences in your writing displays your understanding of sentence structure. With that, being able to purposely use each of these different types of sentences even further proves ones mastery of the topic. It is also helpful for one to identify different grammatical rules. Comment bubbles are in my opinion best used when helping other critique and better their writing. One great mind working on an essay is nice, but multiple minds collaborating to better each others writing is much more effective and produces better writing.
Comment bubbles on Google Docs are incredibly helpful. This allows you to distinguish parts of your essay for any reason. These bubbles are the first line of defense against the agents of confusion and disarray. These tools are most helpful when examining and editing another person’s essay. This is the best way to show a person ways to improve their writing and supply not only the answers but also the explanation. I think that the labelling that these comments allow us to do are also revolutionary. This allows you to do just about anything, from having the ability to point out sentence types, to having the ability to point out a purposeful fragment, to even pointing out vocabulary words and their direct meaning. This is also a failsafe because it allows other students and possibly teachers to check through your essay for grammatical errors, and instead of just correcting them, leave a suggestion and a comment, so that the student can learn rather than just have the problem fixed. In conclusion, the comment bubble tool is incredible for this class because the labelling options are far superior to any of the prior models.
The ability to comment on your, or another person's essay, is one of the most useful things for writing an essay. By leaving comments, you can mark something to come back to. If you do not like the way that you had worded a phrase, or if you do not like how your paragraphs transitioned, you can mark these down in your comment bubbles. They are also very helpful for labeling your grammar, as well as identifying vocabulary words and sentence structure. The use of bubbles allows us to keep track of what we have written from requirements as well. In the classification essay, we had to label vocabulary words, types of sentences, final exam requirements, and our thesis statement. The bubbles are a great way to keep an organized list of what is going on in your essay, and with the bubbles, you can write a more fluid, complex essay. They are also extremely helpful in correcting another person's essay. You, by commenting, can let them know what the strong points in their essay are. You can also help them label, and you can help them notice what they might have to work on. All in all, the comment bubble is one of the most effective tools to help students write better essays.
Labeling elements with comment bubbles can be vastly beneficial to both the student and the instructor. Essays are more often than not quite long, and can be confusing and somewhat annoying to search through for specific elements. It is also possible to pass over something within an essay, and to lose points when grading because of that oversight. Therefore, the student can use these to see where they have included the correct elements, and see what they have yet to add to their essay. This allows them to be more efficient in their essay writing, which lets them accomplish more in less time. Bubbles also improve the instructor's experience, by allowing them to easily see the elements that are required within the essay, like a lit up sign pointing in the right direction. This allows the instructor to grade faster, which benefits the student by making their grade available sooner, and more accurate, because it is much harder to miss something that has been highlighted. Overall, comment bubbles are an incredibly useful tool for everyone involved.
Using comment bubbles is a very useful tool to use in composing essays due to the fact that it allows easy access to view and determine all the different types of sentences and writing elements in your writing. Without this tool, it would make writing a lot more difficult because it would make diversifying your sentence types much more difficult. It it hard to imagine what it was like to compose major essays without the aid of comment bubbles. Also, having comment bubbles helps split up essays into different sections. This helps because it lets us know the length of the writing and where all the topics are located. On the other end, being able to use comment bubbles makes it so much easier fora proofreader to comment their suggestions to the page. They do not have to write on the paper and change everything, they can just insert one little thought bubble of what they think will make the essay better and more appealing to audiences.
Composing essays can be hard alone but when other people leave you comments and suggestions it can be very helpful to your essay. Comment bubbles can be a useful tool to help improve the quality and organization of your essays. Comment bubbles work as a visual aid to help you see where your essay is strong at and where it needs improvement at. If you see a lot of comment bubbles in one portion you can feel pretty good about that particular area of your essay while on the flip side if you see a portion of your essay lacking comment bubbles it might be a good indicator to go back and revise that portion of your essay. They can also serve as a mini outline for you. As you are typing and you notice something that sounds weird but can't think of how to fix it at the moment you can add a comment bubble reminding yourself about the issue so you can come back at a later time and won't forget about it. Also, they can serve as a moral booster for yourself. Typing an essay can be overwhelming at times and once you finish you still might feel like you could of done better or that it's not good. But if you see that you have a lot of comment bubbles and they are all positive and show the different grammar tools that you used you can feel more confident about your essay and reassured in your writing skills.
Being able to use comment bubbles has been an invaluable tool. When trying to type an essay it's easy to get caught up in just getting the word/page count, rather than creating a work of literary art. Using the marginal comment bubbles allows for thoughts to be processed and organized into a layout that makes the essay more impactful and easier to process. While writing and revising over the course of multiple weeks it becomes easy to get side tracked and use similar, repetitive sentence structures, which is well known to be a poor writing strategy, so the use of comment bubble allows for a type of sentence structure catalog to be made to make sure that the writing have enough variety and doesn't become stagnant and drone on. It also helps to verify that the all smaller credentials such as vocabulary words and the terms from term Tuesday. Overall I'm glad that we can use comment bubbles and I wish we had more structured and prominent use of them in our previous english classes.
Labeling your essay with comment bubbles in your margins is a great way to stay organized and get help with your writing. Along with this other people can leave a comment for suggestions, which is extremely helpful for those who struggle with writing lengthy essays. You may also leave a comment bubble for yourself, for a person like me I like to chip away at different sections of an essay. Therefore, I'll leave a bubble so I can go back and fix a part these needs improvement later. Without this tool I would most likely miss small details in my writing. The nice thing about them is that they keep your essay organized and allows you to point out where you have certain vocabulary words or different kinds of sentences which is needed for this essay. The teacher may also use these bubbles to give advice to the students and help them improve their essays. Overall, comment bubbles are helpful for everyone writing and grading an essay.
It is important to utilize comment bubbles in your writing for many reasons. If you are looking to advance your writing and decide to ask for assistance, a friend or coworker can give you suggestions without tampering with your hard work. Using bubbles helps to avoid interference with the essay, which would occur if incomplete edits were embedded within the work as they were thought up. They can also be used independently, for example, to keep track of the amount of literary devices being used or the various sentence structures to confirm there is a variety to keep the text interesting. It is well known that having a clear mind is vital in order to accomplish a cohesive piece of work. Also, you can clearly see if the idea adds important details or if it is unnecessary when it is in the margins. Sometimes reading an idea on paper can sound different than what you hear in your head. Being able to jot down what is on your mind, even if it is just to exercise a wild thought, without committing to the idea will improve your writing without you even being aware of it.
Labeling my elements with bubbles in the margins was actually very helpful. I was able to make sure I had everything I needed for my essay in an organized way. The way I chose to go about it was extremely helpful as well. I went through and wrote my essay, and then went back and labeled. So not only did I get everything I needed to, if i did not have something when I went back I would have to add it in which would lengthen my essay. It also helped me space out my writing elements so that my essay was strong throughout the whole essay rather than one super amazing strong paragraph and a blah rest of it. It would be inconsistent and could make that paragraph hard to read. I think seeing the bubbles also gave a sense of accomplishment, at least for me. Not only did I write a five page essay, but I also included strong writing elements and vocab words. It’s a nice feeling to see you have worked hard and feel good about what you wrote.
I like labeling writing elements because it helps me to stay organized and have a way of seeing how my essay is forming. It helps to look for them as well. I can see which elements I may be using too often or too little. It forced me to expand and improve my essay as I found that it did not contain some crucial elements before. It also helped to put vocab words into context and to make my essay that much better. It feels like a good way to study for the semester test and review vocab words all in the essay as you are actually putting them into practice. It also helps to give a visual. I can see if I have used too many elements or the same element too many times in one place or if I happen to have an entire page that has none.
Larson I believe that labeling is a great tool that is provided to us. It helps me keep my writing organized. Labeling writing also makes students realize if they are repeating themselves or keeping things fresh. After writing the last essay, I realized that I tried to get all of the requirements out of the way as soon as possible. In the future I should try spreading things out throughout my essay. Labeling the different concepts in my writing helps me to apply them and understand them more, this will help when it comes time for the final exam because I will understand the concepts better. Hopefully by the end of the semester it will be easier to pick these elements out.
The comment bubbles help out a lot. I use the comment bubbles to help me correct things that I want to come back to in my essay. It can also be used to label certain elements in your essay. I love to use the comment bubbles because they are so helpful and others get to use the comment bubble on our essay and give us suggestions. Suggestions from other people are very helpful because they give us insight on something that we did not see before. I use the comments to label everything in my essay to give it more order and it keeps me organized. Without the comment bubbles I would not be able to be organized and I would lose my subject. Comment bubbles can be used to identify writing elements: colons in titles, compound sentences, and many more. You can also identify ethos, logos and pathos throughout your essay.
There are many purposes to writing with comment bubbles. For one thing it helps you keep your place and allows you to come back to a previous thought that you were having but could not elaborate at the time of writing. I use this technique with great frequency when I write and this allows me when I am writing and start to have an idea, I can go back and work on it later and just leave myself a little note. Comment bubbles are also good for working with partners as it allows to share comments and critiques with each other even if you are far away from each other. They are also very good for organizing statements and they allow you to edit your work without actually having to edit your work. Comment bubbles are very good for people with the wandering mind and they help us maintain order when we are writing.
Labeling our writing elements is very beneficial for the learning and applying of those new skills. Learning the new forms of grammar and expanding our writing capability would be ineffective without applying what we have learned. A teacher can tell a student multiple times to fix what they are doing but until they actually sit down and create sentences with these techniques in them the student will never have it click in their brain. I am a very avid believer that until you apply what you’ve learned your knowledge is useless. The essay we write in this class is a perfect example of an area to apply what we have learned. However, without making labeling mandatory students would fall short of that expectation and not use the new grammar in any way making their essays seem dull and very childish. The labeling also allows you to see where the new skills fall in your writing and which paragraphs need help. Overall, I feel like the labeling makes each student a better writer. Stengel
Being able to label in the margins is a very important skill to have. It shows that we are acknowledging the writing skills that we are using. We are able to label things such as logos, pathos, and ethos. This helps us not only make sure we have all three in our essays, but also it makes us acknowledge how we are using it and if it is appropriate in that situation. It can also help the writer see if he has an imbalance of the three elements and thus helps the writer correct it. The comments in the margin can also be used for other people to leave comments to help better your essay. People can highlight spelling errors, grammatical errors, and any other mistakes. The bubbles make it a more fast and expedited process to correct errors. Overall, the bubbles help in a number of ways, from labeling writing elements, to correcting mistakes. I will continue to use this helpful tool.
Using the comment bubbles in the margins is very helpful when writing. It is extremely helpful when editing, too. If I need someone to edit my essay, they can just simply comment in the margins and it is not difficult to do. It is very beneficial to have a classmate edit my essays and having this tool makes it even easier and smoother for that to happen. These feature helps my essays to be all around better with editing and being able to label what I have done. This includes labeling my thesis statement, ethos, logos, pathos, vocab words, and types of sentence structures. Also, the comment bubbles help me to keep my essay organized and in order. Without the help of the comment bubbles I do not think my essays would be as organized as they are. Using this tool has been a great help to my writing and now, I will always use it when writing.
In Google Drive, being able to leave comments in the margins of a paper is very beneficial for both the writer and the reviewer or critique. In the Classification essay, the comment bubbles are useful to help point out the vocab words and final exam items that are required in the essay, without becoming messy or confusing. It is useful in finding those certain parts of the essay fast and without having to search through the whole essay, and eliminates having to make unspecific highlights or insert the comments directly into your essay. The comment bubbles are also efficient, and simple to use, with one-click options to make the comment, dismiss it, or edit it. These bubbles are also conveniently out of the way, off to the side so that they only serve to be a helpful tool for readers and writers. It is also great that both the writer and other people can make these comments, and that individual comments can be replied to, in case someone wants to expound upon a comment or disagree with the comment. For editors or critiques, however, the suggesting tool is also a very helpful device in helping to edit essays, and may even be more helpful in editing and proofreading than comment bubbles, even though they are very similar. Overall, the comment bubbles in google drive are a extremely useful, beneficial, and helpful tool that allow for easy and simple editing.
Google Docs has a wonderful feature where you can leave comments on specific sections of a document. There are so many wonderful applications for this feature. I Composition 101, we use it to mark important writing elements within our essays, along with some other important final exam material. I actually used this comment feature quite a bit before this class. I always used it to mark changes that I wanted to make in the essay, among other notes to myself. If I didn't like the title, mark it. If I wanted to colorize a sentence more, mark it. It is such a great tool. Options like this really make an online document more convenient than a real physical one. My problem has always been that so many things are still easier on paper, but this really gets the edge here. The time that this saves is so helpful. I end up having more time in the end to creatively improve my essay so it is the best it can be.
Comment bubbles is a great way to organize your essay. A comment bubble can help improve your essay by giving tips off to the side. You can also label your essay. You can label things such as ethos pathos, logos, and simples sentences, complex sentences and many more. The comment bubbles help keep things on track and to know if you need more or less of something. It is easy to count if you have the comment bubbles labeling your sentence structures so then you know what other ones are needed. These comment bubbles help your essay from becoming confusing and out of order. They keep everything in line. Comments also help the writer expand their ideas. If someone comments and idea of their essay then it can help the writer think of more ideas. The more ideas that are commented the better the essay becomes. Comment bubbles are a very helpful tool and I think could be used way more.
Labeling my essay with comment bubbles helped me improve my essay while keeping it organized. As a writer, I like to simply write and not think. I like to start somewhere and see where my mind takes me at that time. I like to ramble on and on for however long, then go back and fix things. Labeling with comment bubbles didn’t let me do that, which is good. It kept me thinking of specific parts of my essay and how I’d improve that certain part, or how I’d implement an element. Honestly, I really struggled with labeling with comment bubbles. I didn’t really get it and I thought it just broke up my train of thought. Now I realized that it is very helpful. I thought that the elements I labeled broke up my essay. It felt choppy as I was doing it, but reading through it as a whole, it was not so. It only improved my essay and my new goal is to let these comment bubbles labeling help me as I continue writing.
The essay I decided to write about was labeling every trail at Great Bear. Great Bear has really only three main trails that i broke down describing what the trail looks like, what kind of people go on the trail, and I describe what the people are like. For instance, the terrain park is where all the pro riders go that like to show off their stunts, and Long Way Home is usually where all the beginners go because it is the easiest and flattest trail of the whole mountain besides the bunny hill but I decided to not talk about the bunny hill because everybody knows who goes on the bunny hill. If you didn't know, only beginners go on the bunny hill I just feel like it is implied. On JJ's way, ski patrol goes on that trail the most because it is the easiest to get away with stuff on that trail to be doing stuff you shouldn't and get away with it because of all the trees and little trail it breaks down into. I describe the standout things of the trails, like on JJ's way there is a jump in the trees that nobody hits because it is to big, but I love that jump because its always in prime condition because nobody uses it.
Comment bubbles are rather important, I would think. First off, if they weren't very important, I highly doubt Mr. Christensen would so vehemently enforce their usage. To me, that factor alone is enough to prove their significance. Using comment bubbles allows me to keep track of bits of information I could improve, or certain literary techniques that I find particularly interesting and/or effective. They serve as milestones along the winding road that is my essay, giving the reader's vehicle a helpful guide to keep them on track. Additionally, readers can leave their own comments to either point out potholes in reading comprehension or draw attention to areas with the best scenery. Personally, I find comment bubbles to be extremely helpful, but such a pain to review. I am the type to use these bubbles to label basically everything that catches my eye, which leads to the right side of my essay to look like the side profile of an intense game of Jenga. Still, it is worth the effort.
Being able to use comment bubbles is a privilege to us students and our writing. At my old school we did not have mac computers, so we used regular Microsoft word. In Microsoft word you can not add comments to your writing. I have found since I came here that being able to use the comment bubbles is extremely helpful and is a key part to our writing, considering that we use them in every essay that we are assigned. Before, I was not able to specifically point out certain parts of my essay without causing problems to the entire essay itself. For example, when we are assigned to use a simple sentence in our essay, we can use a comment bubble to highlight the sentence and say "Here is my simple sentence in my essay". This is much more helpful than the teacher having to scan every sentence in your essay to find which one is the simple sentence, or whatever it may be that you are pointing out. I also very much enjoy being able to help other students make edits to their essays, without actually changing things without their consent. Being able to use the "suggesting" option to make small changes and have them pop up in bubble comments is extremely pleasing to me, and I'm sure very helpful to whoevers essay I am making suggestions to.
burchill 5 Labeling Your writing with comment bubbles is an easy way for a writer to organize and explore their writing. The opportunity to be able to recognize where the main points are in your essay and highlight important statements goes a long way when trying to edit the length or direction of each paragraph. Labeling with comments also can help indicate the proper inclusion and use of criteria in your writing. With an easy way to insert thoughts and notes without affecting the flow of your writing, labeling with comments is a fundamental tool to improve writing. Comments are also a source of great input from those other than the author. For example, in Coach Christensen's Composition Class, students are able to give constructive suggestions to other students' writing while acknowledging strong points and appropriate use of techniques. Mr. Christensen also does this regularly, making great recommendations for creating a more influential piece of writing.

It also allows you to highlight weak areas in your essay that require reworking. These skills are important to enhancing your writing.

Comment bubbles also provide a way for fellow classmates to assist on each other's compositions. By having the ability to write comments on other's papers, the students are opened to a variety of different styles of writing and can also assist in helping each other become better composers.
When using comment bubbles in essays or any type of writing, they greatly increase the quality of our essays. By commenting with the bubbles, the peers of and teachers of yours have the ability to given you additional advice and tips and tricks to help enhance your essays. In an essay, there may be a time where you want to say more about a specific sentence you wrote, but don't want to write it in the actual essay. By writing comment bubbles on the side, it lets you reflect on what you have written. In my own writing, commenting on things helps me quicker identify what elements I already have in my essay. When I can visually see this, it allows me to go back and see what else I need to add in. Not to mention, the comments and highlighting are only online, so nothing is shown when you print it. Also, commenting on a peer's essay is easy to do and can easily be resolved or deleted. Because of this vital tool, editing essays is easier and more effective. The comment bubbles in the margins are a great tool to use when writing and improving an essay. The comment bubbles have been a major help in writing my essay. The comments have allowed me to make notes to myself so I don’t forget. Without using comment bubbles, I definitely would struggle with keeping track of different writing elements I want or need to incorporate in my essay. If I have a new idea I’d like to use and not forget, I simply add a comment bubble for later. We used the comment bubbles to help edit our partner’s essay. We also use the comment bubbles to easily identify the vocab words and ten final exam items. I am glad that this is a feature of Google Docs that we get to use. The comment bubble tool in the margins is very helpful in writing, reading, or organizing essays. It makes it easier for the reader to understand the connections throughout the paper. The bubbles give you the ability to to highlight a certain part of the essay and then leave a comment on the side in the margins. This can be very useful especially in the need of organization. In most papers you need to highlight things like vocab words, grammar classifications, thesis statements, titles, or a sentence maybe you are unsure of keeping. The bubbles can make it easily visible to yourself of what exists in your essay or what is missing. When writing a essay for example, you need to have Ethos, Logos, and Pathos incorporated into the essay. As you write the essay you can label the facts accordingly into these three categories. Comment bubbles are a valuable asset when writing essays. I find them extremely helpful because they allow others to suggest ideas and provide corrections in your writing without actually changing your essay at all. Having others review and revise your essay is important because it gives you an outsider's perspective, and they notice have a plethora of ideas and knowledge that can greatly benefit your essay. I can clearly see their comments, and then I can determine for myself if I want to make the change that was suggested. If I choose to apply their suggestion, I can resolve the comment once I am finished. Likewise, if I decide not to incorporate their suggestion into my writing, I can simply delete that comment. Comment bubbles are also a great resource when labeling specific items in your essay such as ethos, logos, pathos. They are also useful for marking specific spots in an essay that you would like to revisit in the future. I am forever grateful to Google for this essential tool.
For example, when people go onto a person’s writing they label certain phrases, words, sentences, or punctuation that the person who originally created may have missed an error in the spot. The use of labeling is quite informative and is the benefit to not only yourself but you input to others which in the end helps everyone accomplish their work of literature in a better way of word choice or clarity. The key three ways of writing language that is used is described as the ethos, logos, and pathos. By having the three keys it fills you work of literature with more credibility, emotion, and logic for the audience to get a good grasp of what the work is truly about. Those are some of the ways that labeling acts as a phenomenal tool for the betterment of writing for people.
Comment bubbles help us in many different ways. They allow us to keep our essay organized, so we stay on track in our essay. It also helps us critique fellow people. With these comment bubbles we are able to give people advice on their essay. We can tell them if they spelt a word wrong, or give them advice to change their words around to make the sentence flow easier. The comment bubble in the google docs is extremely helpful while writing essays. They are great to help remind you of changes you might need to make or sentences you need to revise. They are useful for other students and give others a chance to give you input on your essays. It brings in many students to one essay which ends in a fully composed piece of artwork. They also give the teacher the ability to critique and correct your essay. Rather than rewriting your essay, students can just give advice on how to push your essay forward.
Requiring us as students to use these different types of sentence structure, grammar topics, or vocabulary words help prepare us for our final exam and will teach us to write better! The comment bubble is also convenient when trying to help a friend or classmate perfect their essay. You have the ability to leave your thoughts or suggestions to help better their work and they can do the same for you. Having the ability to leave comments bubbles in the margins is an extremely useful tool when writing an essay. As you go through your writing and you come to a mental block for exactly how you want to phrase something you can just highlight and write over in the comment section "revise" and this allows you to move on and not waste your time stuck on something. Also with the highlight you will notice it when you go back through and read it because sometimes you can forget what it was you wanted to fix. The comments also allow for labeling without interrupting the flow of your paper or having to print and write in pen. They also enable teachers to require us to label our essays. Which is good because then we are making conscious decisions to use certain vocab words or to have a good mix of different types of sentences. All in all comment bubbles are a wonderful educational and functional tool that everyone should use.
Labeling your essay with comment bubbles in your margins is a great way to stay organized and improve your writing. If you were to start a sentence with an appositive, noun, or gerund. You would be able to classify your sentences with the comment bubble. This would help improve your essay so you have a variety of sentences.

I believe that labeling is a great tool that is provided to us.
Using the comment bubbles in the margins is very helpful when writing. It is extremely helpful when editing, too. These feature helps my essays to be all around better with editing and being able to label what I have done.

Labeling Your writing with comment bubbles is an easy way for a writer to organize and explore their writing.
