My Feat includes a newspaper, written in Spanish, by Ms. Koehn and me. We have front pages stories, and numerous other sections such as sports, obituaries, entertainment, people, and letter to the editor. So far, I have found the feat to be a tremendous challenge, but enjoyable as well. The feat is going well overall, although our progress has begun slowly due to busy schedules. We are about one-third of the way done. We will accomplish the feat, labeling it due--not done--by concluding our articles throughout this week and this weekend. Then, we will spend next week formatting the newspaper and inserting articles. I look forward to the end product, and the feeling of pride this feat undoubtably yields.

For my feat, I am partnering with Shelbie Bernt. We are constructing a knock off version of People magazine. We have made progress thus far. We both have articles written and the title page is a work in progress. We have even made funny “ads” for elements in each of the book. (I.e. a glass company, a life boat, a fire starter) Due to our busy schedules we haven’t had much time to work together directly but we both have been working separately then coming together to put our work together. We plan on having lots of pictures within the magazine. The fact that we know our standards well will be evident. Happy feating!

My feat with my fellow cowhore Emily Marie Larson is going decently well. We are throwing pots on the wheel; the pots will represent characters in each of the novels. It's going well because we have actually started it which is unusual because I procrastinate. It could be going better because we haven't gotten many done. The steps to create our feat will include (1) Make each of the pots to resemble the unique characters (2) Write about the unique pots and what they represent

My splendid feat will be completed with the partnership of my beloved cohort Allie Renae Poppenga. Our feat entails making pots to represent characters from each of the three novels we read. With each set of pots will be included a written piece describing the intricacies of our clay creations, and including the various other requirements.

My feat includes working with Kelle Beckman to create a newspaper-like document. We are going to write "letters to the editor" from the perspectives of characters from each of the three novels. We also are planning to compose "book reviews" and other articles to incorporate the other required feat elements. We are intending to work after school in the library when we are both available to create this feat. Both Kelle and I will find information on the internet and use our novels as well, and we will use Microsoft Publisher to create our newspaper.

Jenna and I are working together to create our feat. We are in the process of creating a newspaper that will cover all three books. We have started looking for our quotes from the books and critics that we will use throughout. After school—we each get out early—we plan to stay and work in the library to create our feat. To accomplish this task we will use Microsoft Publisher where we can add certain and unique elements.

For my feat I might make a wikispace, however, I am not quite sure how I would make it to fit my idea for my feat. I am wondering if there’s maybe a better source to create my feat other than a wikispace? I am thinking of making the author of the novel the mother/father, and the characters their babies. I am just not sure what angle to approach this? Maybe I could make a baby book for each novel/characters?

Tibke 1,
My feat includes the aspect of baseball. My overall plan for designing my feat is going to evolve around making a sort of line-up for each “team”, the characters in the three different books, and making playing cards for the more major ones. Overall my feat was not going good because I could not get my ideas to start, but with Mr. Cs help I got my ideas to roll. I will accomplish this on my own as of right now but might end up working with Andrew. I will probably start on the line first then move on the writing portions.

My feat is going well. Ashton and I are working to make a magazine with several different sections to incorporate the three novels we have read. We are both doing our share of the project. Although I am writing more articles while she puts more of the magazine together. I try to write articles in the little free time I do have; in a parking lot, waiting for my brother, on my breaks at work, I generate more creative ideas to put this feat together. It’s hard for us to get together to work on the project, because our schedules are so much different. It’s good for us to keep in contact and have classes together so we can talk about our new ideas.

My feat includes typed police reports on the main characters from the various books. My feat is going poorly because I just started working on it. I will accomplish my feat with the following steps: setting time aside each day for researching, combine all my ideas, begin typing, and lastly present.

I am not too entirely sure what needs to be included or whether it should be a project and a paper or just a paper. I am however working on a window etching of half a tiger and half a robot to demonstrate how when looking into the “inner being” we all have an innate evil inside. One we need to train and try maintain. It may just end up being only a tiger but until I actually start etching we will see.

My feat includes my career interest of crimnal justice/law enforcement. Thanks to the help of my teacher, I will be using the Internet to make a Wikispace. My feat started well but it has gone downhill. At this moment, I'm stuck in the process of continuing my feat because I don't know exactly how to combine my ideas with the novels. In order to accomplish my feat, the steps I will take may be gradual. The steps would include finding my information, organizing my Wikispace so it looks neat, and putting in additional touches such as pictures. I will begin to encourage myself more so I can overcome this feat.

My feat includes cupcakes. I am working with Kara Anderson and Val Peltier. We are going to make a cupcake replica of an island and combine elements and symbols from each book to the creation. My feat is going poorly at the moment because we haven't started the actualy creating yet, but have many ideas and plan to begin tonight. I'm not sure how well it will turn out, because i am definitely not a cupcake expert, but we will do our best. This connects to all our occupations because I believe creativity and creation is a part of any occupation. I will acomplish my feat with the following steps: come up with what symbols we want to include. Create the cake. Write an explaination of symbols. Take a picture of the cake. Earn credit!

My feat is still a secret.

I need books and the will to rip them apart.

For now, the only thing I need to do is stabilized the main structure and obtain some gloves.

Our feat is going splendidly! We are prepared to get together this week and construct our ideas into a masterpiece that will be our feat. We will bake our cupcakes next Wednesday to ensure freshness and aesthetic appeal. We will be using Haley's church's kitchen for better efficiency.

My feat will include myself, Kara Shroll, Haydn Heisel, and Brendan something-or-other. We will, as a group, produce three seperate movements that embody the characters and plots of the novels. Along with the muscial arrangements, we will write score introductions to further enhance the music and fufill the feat requirements. Our feat is going well in the fact that we know what our plan is, however we need to "kick it into gear", if you will. I have no doubt that we will complete the project on time and with success.

The final product of my feat will be the outcome of much collaboration between Megan Forster, Haydn Heisel, Brendan Gallo, and me. Haydn and Brendan are in the process of creating a three movement musical work to portray the emotions and events of Lord of the Flies, Cuckoo’s Nest, and Life of Pi—one movement for each novel. Megan and I will be creating the score, which includes a passage describing what the music is representing; this occurs as a prelude to many musical works. I am anxious to complete our feat and observe/analyze the final outcome of our collaborative efforts.

For my feat, I plan to make medical charts for certain characters from each of the three novels. The chart will include information like symptoms, a diagnosis, and a plan to cure that character. There's still a lot of work to be done but I have made great progress thus far.

My feat includes all three of the novels combined into one short story. In this story, the main characters from the novels will slowly reawaken the main character from her fog and she will slowly become to believe her. It will also include the main ideas, symbols, and other character from the novel. It is going well so far, because I am half way done. I just really need to go back and edit it. I will accomplish my feat my putting more time into creating it.

Period 2

My feat includes a periodic table of characters. I am working with Cade Dawn. Our feat is going well because we have a majority of the project completed. It is going poorly because neither of us likes to write. To complete our feat, we need to continue to expand on the characters and furthermore explain why they are placed accordingly. Second, we need to finish the writing portion of our project. To finish it, we will need to find the time to work with each other where the rest will fall together.

My feat with Katie Peterson is going well. We have our dance choreographed. Our dance is filled with symbols representing the three different books. Now we need to find time to record it and start on our paper. We are in the process of finding quotes from the books and critics. Soon, we will be able to finish our wonderful feat.

My feat includes nine adorable puppets, four intense backdrops, and comedic script with memorable quotes. I am working on this feat with my good friend Maggie Grapevine. We have currently made four of the puppets and have nearly completed all of the backdrops. We are finding it somewhat difficult to write the script, trying to fill it with the RL standards while still maintaining the desired entertaining aspects. We are getting together throughout this week and possibly this weekend in an attempt to finish all of these things and possibly film the puppet show itself. We will then use a movie making software to edit it and record voice covers.

I am successfully in partnership with Trey Etrheim on our FEAT project. Essentially, our project is a literary version of the annual NCAA March Madness competitions and games that revolve around college basketball. Instead of using basketball teams however, we are combining elements from all of the novels read. In four seperate regions - Characters, Symbols, Themes, and Miscellaneous - we have conclusively decided upon our winners in every round with evidence in the form of requirements that are to be met for the project. Our feat is going well because we have applied it to our lives and interests in a way that makes literature and its contents important to both of us. We have decided upon the winners of the whole "Literary Madness" tournament but the winner will not be released until the due date. We will most likely compile all of the needed information by this weekend and present it in a manner such that it becomes captivating and meaningfull to the rest of our immediate peers. Much of the project is pure creativity and it has been subject to our discretion which I thouroughly enjoy.

I do not dislike any subject in school, but I have discovered that my favorite subjects include math and science. So chemistry is the topic of choice, and who better to work with than someone who wants to be a chemistry major—Taylor Andersen. The feat is not quite going well, or poorly, it is actually not progressing at the moment. We need to find time and plan out what else we need in order to finish it.

I have not entirely decided on my feat at this point. One of my possible feats includes created two basketball teams, facing off, in an all-out battle of literary characters. My feat has not really taken off yet. I have it planned out to an extent but have made miniscule progress. I will accomplish my feat by placing all the characters from the great novels read in class in a game of skill traits and overall value, basketball.

My feat is a diarama of an island made entirely of paper and paint. It has a mountain, forrest, insane asylem, beach, ocean, life boat, tiger, etc. It is going quite well. The visual is completely finished and looks great. I have included quotes from the book and critics. Now the only thing I have to do is type up all of the RLSS's and other requirements for the feat.

Hokay, so, my feat is going pretty well. Mr. D. Johnson has been kind enough to give me some software for recording. This software is completely legal (unlike the stuff me and my brother used previously) and quite convenient. I have successfully composed the first movement about the novel Lord of the Flies. Gallo 2 has created the second movement, which is over One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest. I have confidence in him, and assume it is wonderful. Kara and Megan will be working with words by composing something more literally literary. It will be included in the score. I will combine my skills will Gallo to create the finale—Life of Pi. Overall, I give my current performance a 7/10. Good enough for now.

For my feat, I am partnering with Amy Steffen and Becka Tripp. We plan to make a soccer game and connect the players, refs, fans, etc to characters in the novels. My feat will probably consist of an engine and its parts. I will relate the characters to parts of the engine in the way that they work with the other parts to make the engine function as a whole. My feat is not necessarily going well or poorly; I haven’t really started it yet. The engine idea will be relatively easy to relate to the stories, so I think it will go very well once I start. I’m hoping to be able to borrow a small engine from Mr. Donelan, which would make things very easy for me. He uses it for demonstrations in his classes, and the cylinder head is removed to show the moving parts inside. If I am not able to borrow this engine, I will try to make a model or representation to demonstrate with. This would be a bit more difficult, but still manageable.

I am working with Cole Hensley on my Feat – except we just started working. Our plan is to rewrite song lyrics to explain the meaning of the three novels. I find that the task is more difficult than I first assumed. My key role in our Feat is the video production. I am slightly worried that we have not started yet, since I will need an immense time in post production to polish the music videos to my liking. Hopefully it will all come together as planned.

At this point in time my feat is still undecided. I have had ideas but none have actually piqued my interest enough to get a start on it. I have resolved to know for sure what my plan is by Thursday of this week and work dedicatedly throughout the week and weekend so I can finish by Tuesday of next week—regardless of if I think it’s a decent idea or not. Hopefully the decency of the idea will be, however poor it will be, will be negated by the effort I intend to put into it.

My feat will include the comparison and contrast of treating a patient and writing a novel. I may branch out and look at why someone would want to be a doctor or why someone would want to be a writer. There are many kinds of genres of novels and there are varieties of doctors.
Science fiction -- Oncologist-high tech, injecting poison into patients
Romance--cardiologist
Tragedy --Trauma/ER
Comedy--endocrinologist (growth hormone, height-children… zoo atmosphere, light and fun)
Poetry-surgery, an art to suture up a patient and perform surgery correctly with little or no scar
Drama-Human resources-boss--
Satire-colonoscopy, small bowel enteroscopy, laser endoscopy (people make jokes-mockery)
Tragicomedy (Shakespeare) …………………………………..
I have not decided what form of presentation I will use. A PowerPoint seems the most practical but it is a boring idea so I don’t know.
I could possibly make the characters Doctors, Nurses, Techs of a certain unit for their characteristics.
Piggy could be cardiology because he was grandmotherly, or he could be Palatte of care because he is caring.
Billy could work in a Psychology unit with (behavior health) –he was suicidal
Bromden, McMurphy, Jack, Roger, Simon, Ralph, Pi, RP

My feat is being done with the voluminous Trevor Arrowsmith. We have the outline of our feat right now, but that is about it. We know what we are doing, we just have yet to do it. Our feat has to deal with the ideal football player/athlete. We have a great idea to incorporate many ideals, characters, and themes in the making of our feat. Piggy, Ralph, Jack, Pi, Richard Parker, Chief, McMurphy, and many other characters will greatly help us with this feat.

Story 5,
The medical field with traces of Oncology is portrayed in my feat. I relate characters from the three novels to specific and detailed organs, tissues, cells, etc. I also relate quotes from the novels along with critic reviews to the medical field as a whole. To relate literature to a medical aspect proved some difficulty. By the end of this project, I was able to see how accomplished I was with my studies in sciences. I named off features that requires in-depth knowledge. Overall, I am happy with my choice of a feat and the outcome with where I am at now.

For my feat, I plan to build a bridge out of popsicle sticks. Kendal Rusten and I will be working together with engineer’s mindsets. It is going poorly at the moment because we have not started to meticulously plan yet, but are going to begin immediately. We will accomplish our feat by planning, brainstorming, designing, and eventually building. After building the bridge, we will have to write descriptions and explanations for each piece of the project.

My feat isn’t really going at the moment. I believe that I have a really good idea to go upon. I really enjoy animals, so I am attempting to create a dog show type of thing. I have started a wiki space, and I can’t wait to add to it. I need to look into the novel more, to gain quotes and morals. I plan on working on it more this week, as I will have more time to spend on the computer at home. I am excited to share my knowledge about animals and the novels we have read.

My feat partner is Ms. Westcott and we are planning to put our engineering minds together to create a beautiful masterpiece. Right now we are thinking of making a bridge and somehow connect all the novels into it. It is going poorly because it is hard to give meaning and connect all of the books to our creation. Plus, we just recently decided to become partners so we’re a little late in the game.

My and Mr. Rasmussen's collaborative feat involves the construction of legos and other various materials. The lego base structure is complete, but we have yet to add on minor details and symbolic materials to enhance the overall presentation of our feat. I feel that our feat is going well, as we are managing our time and should have a completed project by the end of the week. We will accomplish our feat by using our lego structure to compare the three novels to each other and to their respective films. In addition, we will also provide an essay with critiques and quotes that we could not intertwine into our structure.

For my feat, I am comparing the prominent characters of the three amazing books we have read in class to the advanced equipment used every day by nurses and doctors in hospitals (my future occupation). My feat is going well because I have three slides left to complete in powerpoint to finish off my project. A minor problem I have encountered is what instrument should I compare Chief Bromden to. After some consideration, I have found a match. As of now I am very happy with my feat and it is going very smoothly.

My feat is being done with Phil Volk and Collin Livingston. Our feat is going to include a soccer theme. We were thinking about picking a proffesional team that we admire and comparing the actual players to the characters we have read about. We may also make parellels to certain parts of the field to go with some of the major themes. We will accomplish this with hard work, deliberate thinking, and perseverance.

My feat is being done with the impeccable Matt Vandeberg. Our plan is written down, but yet to come alive. We plan to incorporate the characters of the novels to be all of the parts of the perfect athlete/player. It will be difficult but fun.

I am currently collaborating on my feat with Nick Wilde. We are making a poster highlighting an upcoming triathlon focusing a particular athlete: Ralph McMurpi. I am partnering with Becka Tripp and Brynne Rist for my feat. We are planning to make a 3D model of a soccer game and associate the players, coaches, fans, and refs to the characters in the novels. The symbols, themes and motifs will be represented by tactics and other aspects of the game. Along with our 3D model, we are writing an essay to explain everything.

My feat is based on computer motherboards. I disassembled three computers of varying ages for the three novels, and will compare characters to parts. My feat is progressing well, but I am concerned on how to show the standards. The setup of my feat is relatively simple, but the explanation and write up will be more in depth and difficult. I will finish my feat by finding time to work on it and not becoming over-critical.

My feat includes the parallel of Angus bulls and Literature. The comparison may be a reach to some, but I plan to make it relevant and interesting to my classmates. My feat is limping along at a good pace. Recently though, I have discovered a pothole on our road to enlightenment. This obstacle was contracted while at the National Western Stock Show in Denver, Colorado. It seems that the three head I brought to Denver have broken out with ring-worm. With an incubation period of about six weeks it makes good sense that my bull, Reptar, is starting to bloom with this fungus. Poor guy. So with this being said, I do not think that my plan to bring him to school will not work out. Thus I am lost in my quest to display a tangible bull to my classmates. I will accomplish my feat with some determination and creativity. Hope fully it will be udderly successful.

I am currently working on a feat with my fellow classmates Logan Johnke and Phil Volk. Our feat is going to be based upon the game of soccer and we plan on making comparisons between the game we love and the three novels we have studied so far throughout this semester. We plan on picking a professional team in which we can relate the characters, symbols, and settings to at the best of our given abilities. So far it is going well thanks to the ways we have learned how to dissect a book and really unmask the information these fantastic tales provide to us. My literary skills have improved tremendously and will in turn result in success in this project. Phil, Logan, and I will accomplish our feat by closely examining characters, settings, motifs, and much more and then finding a team we know well enough that fits the profile of such ideas. We hope to construct visuals as well as simplified explanations to pass on the information we have unearthed and made connections to

My Feat is going extremely well. My feat includes the help of Spencer Myrlie and several of the theater’s finest cast and crew. We have so far finished up writing the songs for the video and will begin production and filming very shortly. The only hiccup in the whole production is my ability to set up props, lights, sound, and cameras to achieve the shots I had in mind. The steps I will have to take to accomplish my feat will be: borrow cameras and equipment from the CTE academy; second, program the light board in the PAC to obtain the desired lighting for my shots; thirdly, obtain and/or build all props and costumes that will be necessary in the production; fourthly, record all shots and sounds that go with the production; finally, use post-production editing to achieve the desired finished product. Over all I am very excited for this project.

For my feat, Tyler Anderson and I will successfully connect Lord of the Flies, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, and Life of Pi to the annual NCAA Basketball Tournament. We will create a bracket using characters, symbols, themes, and miscellaneous facts about these novels for the regions. Our explanations of why a certain character/symbol/theme advances to the next round will consist of the necessary information needed to complete the project (important quotations, vocab words, etc.). We have made significant progress already on the project. The bracket has been decided and the winner has already been determined. However, most of the work will be done this upcoming weekend as we hope to perfect our literary bracket by Saturday.

My feat includes working with Kara Anderson and Malle Stephens and creating an extraordinary masterpiece by using cupcakes and other cake decorating skills. Our feat is going poorly at the moment. We have not begun the baking process. We have however put our heads together and come up with several different symbols and elements found in the novels. We plan to start baking tonight. In order to accomplish our feat we will meet at 5:30 P.M. at Kara Anderson’s home. Then, we will wash our hands and start making the batter. Once the cupcakes are in the oven and baking, we will pile our ideas together to make an island that shows all of the different symbols in the past three novels we have read. After we take the cupcakes out of the oven, we will make several different colors of frosting. While building this island, we will probably taste test once or twice. Once the cake is built, we will explain our symbols on a piece of paper. Lastly, we will clean up our work station and take a picture. I am very excited to start baking the cupcakes to build an island. When we are finished with our feat, I think we will feel a great accomplishment.

In tribute to the greatest sport in the world, my feat will have a soccer theme. I am diligently working with Logan Johnke and Collin Livingston. I believe that our great manpower will help us dominate this project. We are planning to include a professional soccer team to compare with characters in the novel. We are doing well because Mr. C has taught us how to think critically, deeply, and analytically (ie. phalic symbols) about abstract themes. Through truth, justice, and the American way, we will be able to defeat this feat and the forces of evil.

Brian and I are building a four foot model of DNA out of scrape steel. The current weight is estimated at thirty pounds but could reach fifty five pounds when finished. The shape and molecular components are representative of literary ideas. We have spent six hours building so far and plans are to spend four or five more before it is complete. The majority of the wielding and plasma cutting was done by me while Brian applied his skills in painting the various components that were later carefully wielded into their final positions. I don’t want to reveal any of the specific ideas as they are better when they are a surprise. I will however tell you what the three basic groups represent. The phosphates are the backbone of DNA and they well represent archetypes. The nitrogenous bases are quotes and ideas from the stories. The sugar will be the figurative language. In the final model nearly every aspect of its design has meaning and all was designed and built with symbols and ideas in mind.

My feat includes many, hopefully delicious cupcakes. I am working with Malle Stephens and Val Peltier. We have hopes of making the cupcakes take on the appearance of an island. Every aspect of the cupcakes—cupcake papers and frosting alike—will have some sort of symbolism tying all the books together. My feat is going poorly right now because we have not started. I am a little nervous about the feat because I have not made many cupcakes before, but I am very good at making biscuits, so hopefully all will be well. We will accomplish our feat with the following steps: meet at my house at about 5:30 (after softball and musical practice) and then proceed to Wal-Mart to get our supplies, return to my house and begin the baking process, decorate the baked cupcakes and assemble them in an island shape, and finally, explain our symbols. We will present our edible island to the class, though we are indecisive on what form it will be—picture or cupcakes.

Like the novels we have read, the process of completing my feat has brought forth many unexpected situations. I am trying to relate the themes, characters, and other aspects of the novels to the behavior and characteristics of my cat, Otis. Normally, Otis is quite fond of the camera and observation. However, this past week he came down with a sudden bout of camera shyness and seclusion, running away at the sound of a shutter and the quick burst of a flash. It may be that he is simply angry at me for starving him for a day, and locking him in a single room for another. In an effort to make amends, I treated him with some catnip. He spent several minutes in a sort of narcotic frenzy then proceeded into a state resembling a kitty hangover. Controlling any animal’s behavior can be a challenge; I now share much more sympathy for Pi and his feline companion.

My illusive Feat will likely involve the comparison of golf with the three novels we have read. Whether I compare characters to the tools of golf, or the actual game of golf itself I have not yet decided. If I choose to compare characters with clubs/tools, then I will bring my golf bag of supplies to convey detailed parallels and contradictions between characters and golf clubs/tools. At this moment I would say my Feat is not fluently developing toward excellence.

For my feat, I continue to form an imitation of Facebook. I have so far made a homepage, and a few of the pages for the characters. The problems I am having with my feat, besides the fact of the time consuming nature, is that I am unsure of which characters would interact with each other in real life. I plan to make a page for each of them, but have other characters write on their “wall.” Which character will write on which wall remains my problem. What I have yet to do is personalize each page for the specific character, and I need to hyperlink the buttons to make this feat more believable. I also have yet to start my essay explaining the reasoning behind my project, and how it fills all of the state standards.

My feat requires the participation of Clay, Long, Haley U., and myself. My feat is going well because we are dividing the work equally between us, so we are efficient. We will accomplish our feat

For my feat, I will be partnering up with Amy Steffen and Brynne Rist to make some sort of 3D model of a soccer game. All aspects of the game including the refs, players, coaches, fans and more will be included and represented by something in the books. All tactics will also be represented in some way. An essay will probably be included to further explain our model.

My feat has to do with an art project. I will find a way to incorporate all of the books in this project. One part of it will be mechanically sculpted, another part will be savagely sketched, and the last part will be vividly painted. Each aspect of it will portray each novel (One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Lord of the Flies, and Life of Pi respectively) and some of the important symbols that are included in each novel. I will also include a paper with explanations and other important aspects that are required.

Chase Marso and I have teamed up to create a Spanish newspaper juxtaposing the three novels for our feat. We both enjoy the Spanish language and plan to continue our education as bilingual students in college. We figured creating a newspaper would allow a broad spectrum of topics to be eventually grouped together to make a cohesive project. Planning a people, entertainment, sports, and miscellaneous section will allow us to talk about the authors, characters, critics, and even other classmates’ feats. So far, we have split the articles down the middle for each of us to write. The tricky part is translating to Spanish with the words we know, and meeting the requirements of the feat. Our plan is to have all of the articles written by the end of the week; so we can put the newspaper together next week before Chase joins his team in the State Tournament. I have enjoyed working together and feeding off each other’s ideas while also splitting the work load. Hopefully the end product will reflect our Spanish interests, and knowledge of the novels.

I do not believe that Clay, Anthony, Ellie, Haley Bo Baley and I are doing the cooking show anymore. This is due to the allegation that we have plagiarized an original idea from another individual. No matter how much I rebuke this fact and am certain of its falsehood, I believe that I must revoke the idea for the cooking show. Hopefully ideas for a new feat will come surely and quickly.

My feat includes Taylor Hanzel as my project partner. We are doing a Sunday school lesson on the different Christina symbols found in all three books. We will be putting together a lesson, a game, a coloring page, a song, and a snack. Our feat is going well due to the fact both of us have taught Sunday school before. The hard part about our feat is that we have to relate that Sunday school lesson to the books. We have to act as though we are teaching children and that is difficult due to the material we are teaching on. I am looking to seeing how this feat turns out.

My feat is going great so far! Since I love running, my feat includes explaining what five characters from each novel are running to or running away from. It also includes the type of “endurance” each character has and their motivation along with whom/what is pushing them. I have figured out which characters I am using and what each of those characters is doing. Next I plan on finding my quotes, incorporating my sources, and striving to meet the other requirements. I’m not sure how I will be presenting my feat but an idea I have is writing/typing it out on the back of bib numbers I have from previous track and cross country races I ran.

Clarissa Petersen and I are conquering our feat together. Our feat is progressing very well at this point. We have passed the planning stage and are in the process of putting all our ideas together into a cohesive feat. This feat will take Christian symbols from all three novels to develop a Sunday school lesson for an elementary age group. Our feat will include a Bible story with a worksheet and coloring page, a game, a song, and of course a snack. This feat will be put to the test in my own third grade Sunday school classroom. To fully accomplish our feat we need transform the context to the level that elementary students will comprehend.

For my feat, I am combining with my wonderous friend Shannon Coyle, on an entertaining puppet show. It features nine little puppets, a hopefully entertaining script, and beautifully-painted backdrops. Though we are still working on the script, and incorporating all the standards needed-as well as quotes from the novels-we should be finished soon. We will be recruting others to help with voicing the characters and "playing" the characters, and hopefully will be filming this for others to watch as well. For us, it has been an enormous task, but it will hopefully end up being a great and wonderous feat.

My feat will be a cookbook that uses the dishes to describe the characters personalities. It will include many delectable dishes. Some will come from the internet, but I will try to add my own pizazz to the dishes that I borrow from others. The ideas for my dishes are going well. I have plenty of ideas to express all the character’s personalities. One thing going poorly would probably be the design layout for my cookbook. It is not a major problem, I just need to find a layout I find neat and stylish. To complete my feat, I will follow the following steps. Step one; find all the recipes that I’m going to use. Step two; get all the ingredients, supplies, and steps written down on note cards. Step three; glue the note cards onto a piece of paper. Step four; glue a picture onto the paper and decorate the rest of the paper. Step five; organize the dishes in a binder and decorate the cover. After all these steps, I will have a wonderful literary cookbook.

My feat is a marketing plan for a new movie The Life of the Lord of the Flies. I will convince my fellow classmates to go to this movie that is centered on all of Lord of the Flies with characters from Life of Pi and One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest put in as elements in the story.

In all honesty, I have not embarked on my feat yet because I can’t make up my mind. I have about 3 ideas that I could do, but none grab me enough. Each one has a fairly thought out layout and plan of action. I simply must decide and start. My ideas include:

1.)A business plan with characters, systems, management and resemes. To me, this seems like a lot of fun to assemble. However, I feel that grading this project (as well as presenting it) will be a bore to my audience.

2.)I could construct a 10 minute oral interp speech. I could add humor and literary techniques discussing the novels and analyzing them. Yet, while I enjoy performing such pieces, I am not enthused about writing one.

3.)I am interested on studying communications/media/film in college. My dream job would be to create movie trailers. To me, that sounds fun. Since I can’t possess the files on my computer of all the movies, I can’t create my own trailers. However, I could pick one trailer of each movie and critique them. It would be like a director’s commentary sort of thing. I would explain why certain clips should be shown, and why some should be left out. I would note where greater pauses would be needed and critique words chosen to display, in order to make the audience feel more/relate more, ect. In a sense, I will be recreating the trailers. After typing this, I have realized I am more enthused about this project than any other. Therefore, I am going to start on this right away.

I will be conquering my feat with my good pal Dillon Waldera. We will be incorporating a triathlon theme into our project. Each of the three renowned novels conveniently correlates with an element of the triathlon. Having already started the feat process, things are going tremendously well! We will accomplish our feat with perseverance and lots of food. Brain food. Greater insight into our feat is not available. Y'all will just have to wait.

For my feat, I am doing three paintings, one for each book. I am about one-third of the way done because I am just about finished with my Lord of the Flies watercolor. I am planning on finishing the three by this weekend, since there is so much due March 15th. For my Lord of the Flies painting, I am using the conch as my shape and filling the conch in with one of the scenes that stuck out the most to me: when the chorus boys kill the sow. I am also including the specs and a fly. For the Life of Pi one I am doing my painting in the shape of a turtle with a scene from a movie poster of a whale breaching beside Pi’s lifeboat. I am doing a dream catcher shape for One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. In the largest circle I am painting the scene where Chief watches the dog through the window. In the circle below that I am doing two geese flying; the lowest circle will be a compass (one flew east, one flew west). The two circles on the sides of the main will be gears. I am confident that I will finish and am excited to see the outcome.

My feat includes fashion. So far my ideas are coming along nicely. I have a different outfit for each novel. I will videotape myself wearing each of the outfits and describe in detail which each piece represents. These outfits will include characters, themes, visual art, and specific elements of the novels.

I was not in school on Tuesday, but I wanted to give some input on my groups feat. It consists on Clay, Long, Anthony, (possibly Ellie) and myself. We are still going through with our cooking idea. We have just changed one major aspect. Instead of making a dish per character we are only making one dish. Each character will be represented by a different ingredient. We believe that this will make our feat more efficient.

I must have missed the memmo on this blog task. Regradless, as Mr. Heisel mentioned earlier on this blog, we are doing three movements of music, one for each novel, with the collaboration of Forster and Shroll, also of period 2. I have already completed the One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest movement, and tonight, Haydn and I will be collaborating on the final Life of Pi movement. The feat seems to be on track, and I look forward to exposing it to the class.
